As most of you may know the trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 came out this past week. But, for those of you who have not seen the trailer yet, here it is....
For me, and most of the gaming world, this is HUGE news. Modern Warfare 2 was such a big hit, that just the appearance of a trailer has got me giddy as school-girl.
In this trailer, we see an awesome looking campaign-mode, with very intense battle scenes. I also noticed the return of one of my favorite guns, the M4-A1. From the looks of it, the campaign-mode is going to be better in this game than any of its predecessors. The main reason for this thought, is where the story takes place. America, Germany, England and France. Never has the series taken four of the most powerful countries of the world and let you defend the stars and stripes. Of course, we will get to play as our allies, but no matter what leaks on other websites, I still don't know what the games content fully is until it pops into my disc drive.
The trailer has very few words, but of those words, they let you know the importance of your role as the gamer. "It doesn't take the most powerful nations on earth to create the next global conflict..... Just the will of a single man."
From the looks of things, the main cities I can see from the trailer include: Paris, London, Berlin and New York. Each cut-scene has some very cool shots, showing submarine shots, helicopter strikes and car explosions. This game is probably most anticipated title of the year by far and I personally, can't wait.
